CUIAB October 2007 Wildfires Information
The recent wildfires in southern California may have an impact on how and when your appeal is processed. Please call the Office of Appeals where your appeal is on file if any of the following circumstances applies to you:
- If you have filed an appeal from an Employment Development Department Notice of Determination regarding eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits, disability insurance benefits, or liability for employment taxes;
- If you’ve had a hearing before an administrative law judge prior to October 22, 2007, but still have not received a decision;
- If you were scheduled to appear at a hearing during the week of October 22, but were not able to be present.
